Printmaking and Poetry
Dates: Tuesdays May 31st, June 7, 14, 21
Time: 6:30-8:30pm
Combining creative writing and printmaking, through this workshop you might find inspiration, discoveries, thought provoking words and images or even humor in such a personalized and unique style that will speak to you.
After the birth of your words. I will guide you to transform them into mark making giving them expression, beauty and life of their own through linocut and/or collagraph techniques.

Alebrijes
Dates: Wednesdays June 1, 8, 15, 22

Alebrijes which are a combination of fantasy and mystical creatures are bright and colorful pieces that can contain a source of strength as we are drawn to the qualities we see in these animals. Inspired by this Mexican craft, using paper mâché technique we will combining two or more animals/creatures and bring to light new life.
Come listen to your inner voice.
This is a women’s group and if you have a teen daughter, it can be a wonderful time to explore and connect. This is for you too!

Creating art is a way of connecting with things deeply hidden within ourselves, it provides an opportunity for awareness. Through art making we are granted the opportunity to see, to search once again into what it truly means to open the heart.
In a prayerful sacred community we find health, and in health we find healing and through this group you will connect to your creativity. to your spirit and to the process of lifting others up.
In community we will read scripture and create an art piece in response to the part of your spirit that wants to emerge and blossom.

During these 3.5 hours you will surround yourself by the water, find your balance while paddling in an origami kayak- that you will learn how to put together.

Portraits in Clay June 13-17
Dates: June 13-17thth
Time: 2:30pm - 5:00pm

During this week you will create a one piece with air dry clay. I will guide you from how to assemble the skeleton, manipulate, mold, shape the clay into a figure. You will bring into life a character and develop who this "person" is as you slowly let the clay and your hands work together to see this unfold.

Ink, Pen & Color Pencil June 20-23
Dates: June 20-23 * This is a 4 day group* Mon -Thur
Time: 2:30pm - 5:00pm

For a full week we will play and explore with drawing techniques using these 3 mediums: Ink, Pen and Color Pencils. We don't know what we don't know, until we try.

Investment: $200 + Canvas (Price according to size)
This session is more than making a painting together, it's about connecting.
When was the last time you found joy playing, creating and sharing with your family for 2 hours straight without any distractions such as phone calls, electronics and boredom? Take home a large scale canvas made by all the members of your tribe.
I will provide all the materials and guide you to make this experience the best one possible. Get ready, it might get messy!
I will also provide candid photos that I will take throughout your experience.
